Terms of Service.

Welcome to CALIO. By accessing or using the CALIO platform, browser extension, or related modeling services (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a company, fund, or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to these terms.
1. Account Terms & Security
To ensure reliable, professional service for all users, accounts must comply with the following standards:
- You must be 18 years of age or older, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.
- Accounts must be registered and operated by humans. Registration or programmatic access via automated bots, scrapers, or scripts is strictly prohibited.
- Each account is intended for individual use by a single named analyst. Sharing credentials across multiple team members is not permitted; dedicated seats ensure uninterrupted workstation preferences and local model storage.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and authentication credentials. CALIO cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized access resulting from compromised local devices.
2. Subscription Billing, Calendar Cycles & Cancellation
CALIO provides high-precision SEC EDGAR parsing, dynamic 3-statement linking, and institutional financial model templates on a predictable subscription basis.
Advance Calendar Billing
For monthly subscription plans, the Service is billed in advance on a calendar month basis. For annual subscription plans, the Service is billed in advance on an annual basis. Subscriptions automatically renew at the conclusion of each billing period unless you choose to cancel prior to your renewal date.
Immediate Digital Access & Non-Refundable Active Terms
Because CALIO delivers immediate, full, and unrestricted digital access to our financial extraction infrastructure, proprietary multi-sheet Excel model downloads (.xlsx), and live SEC EDGAR parsing engines upon payment, subscription payments are non-refundable once initiated and processed for an active calendar month or annual billing period.
Once a payment is successfully completed, we cannot issue prorated refunds mid-cycle, partial-period refunds, or credits for unused days in the middle of an active calendar month. In order to maintain uniform, transparent pricing and sustain dedicated SEC parsing bandwidth for all subscribers, this policy applies consistently to all accounts.
3. Hassle-Free Cancellation at Any Time
You maintain full control of your subscription at all times. If you decide that CALIO is no longer required for your workflow, you can cancel your subscription at any time without cancellation fees, retention delays, or hidden steps:
- Keep Your Paid Access: If you cancel your subscription before the conclusion of your current paid calendar month, your cancellation takes effect at the end of that billing period. You retain uninterrupted, complete access to all CALIO features, models, and exports through the final day of your paid cycle.
- Zero Future Charges: Upon cancellation, your payment method will not be charged again for subsequent calendar months.
- Simple Steps: You may cancel directly through your account billing settings or by sending an email with your account information to caliointel@gmail.com.
4. Upgrading, Downgrading & Plan Adjustments
You may adjust your subscription tier as your research requirements evolve:
- Upgrades: When upgrading to a higher tier or switching from a monthly cycle to an annual plan, your account is immediately upgraded. Any unused balance from your current calendar month is credited prorated toward the new plan.
- Downgrades: When switching to a lower tier, your downgrade will take effect at the start of your subsequent calendar billing cycle, allowing you to utilize your existing tier’s features through the end of your paid period.
5. Billing Support & Accidental Charges
We believe in treating every customer with dignity and fairness. If you believe an unintentional duplicate transaction or technical billing error occurred on your account, please contact our support team at caliointel@gmail.com within 14 days of the transaction. We will gladly review your situation promptly and resolve genuine billing discrepancies with care.
6. Regulatory Disclaimer & No Investment Advice
CALIO is an independent financial technology software platform. Please note the following regulatory distinctions:
- No Affiliation with the SEC: CALIO is an independent product and has no official affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) or any governmental regulatory body.
- Informational & Research Use Only: All financial statements, XBRL extractions, DCF valuations, and peer matrices provided through the Service are for general research, analytical, and educational purposes only. They do not constitute financial, investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice.
- Independent Diligence: Investment decisions should always be grounded in independent verification of official issuer disclosures and consultation with certified financial advisors. CALIO does not recommend or endorse the purchase or sale of any security.
7. Limitation of Liability & General Conditions
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While CALIO strives for rigorous data fidelity and pulls directly from primary SEC EDGAR XBRL filings, we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, entirely error-free, or that regulatory filings will always be available from government hosts. Under no circumstances shall CALIO, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Service or reliance upon extracted disclosures.
