Privacy Policy & Zero-Cloud Architecture.

Effective Date: 2026-09-01 • Contact: caliointel@gmail.com

CALIO is committed to institutional confidentiality. When conducting investment research, merger analysis, or valuation modeling, your company queries, valuation assumptions, and research watchlists must remain strictly private.

1. 100% On-Device Processing & Stateless SEC Gateway

All SEC EDGAR filing data is fetched from official government endpoints (sec.gov, data.sec.gov). In browser environments where web origin policies (CORS) restrict direct client requests to SEC servers, the web application routes requests through a high-performance, stateless proxy gateway (/api/sec hosted on Vercel Edge). This gateway attaches verified SEC-compliant User-Agent headers and caches public regulatory disclosures ephemerally in accordance with SEC fair-access limits. The gateway performs zero logging of user identities, research queries, or portfolio watchlists. All parsing of XBRL taxonomies, 3-statement linking, and DCF calculations occur exclusively in your local device memory.

2. Local Storage & Watchlists

Any saved watchlists, extraction histories, or custom DCF assumptions are persisted exclusively in your browser's local sandbox (localStorage and chrome.storage.local). This data never traverses the internet to CALIO or any third party.

3. No Sale or Brokerage of User Data

We never sell, broker, monetize, or inspect your investment research queries, ticker searches, or modeling assumptions. We treat research confidentiality as non-negotiable for professional analysts.

4. Aggregated Technical Telemetry & Performance

CALIO utilizes cookie-free, privacy-preserving Vercel Web Analytics solely to monitor web application performance, page load latencies, and system error rates. Telemetry is fully anonymized and aggregated; it never records personal identities, search queries, or financial model contents.
